27.5 €
The unusual and charming combination of violin, clarinet, and piano offers many possibilities for playing as a duo or trio. Bogdan Dumitrascu, Christian Seibold, and Gerd Jordan present compositions by Johannes Brahms (Hungarian Dances), Béla Bartók (Romanian Folk Dances), Gustav Mahler, Darius Milhaud, Gian Carlo Menotti, and Joseph Horowitz.
Bogdan Dumitrascu, violin, was born in Romania. He is concertmaster of the first violins at the Hamburg State Philharmonic Orchestra and was a member of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra.
Christian Seibold, clarinet, joined the Hamburg State Philharmonic Orchestra in 1993 as principal clarinetist, coming from the Frankfurt Opera. Beyond his love for opera and singing, his passion also extends to jazz. In 2005 he founded the ensemble "Philharmonic Clowns".
Gerd Jordan, piano, is a true all-around talent - he is a cantor and organist, pianist, university lecturer, and musical director of the internationally active choir "Schola cantorosa".
