10th International Jazzhaus Piano Competition "In Memoriam Waldi Heidepriem"

The International Jazzhaus Piano Competition takes place every two years as part of the Freiburger Jazzfestival, honouring the memory of Jazzhaus founding chairman and pianist Waldi Heidepriem. 2026 marks the 10th edition. Past winners such as Vincent Meissner, Florian Favre, David Tixier, Lajos Toth and Rainer Böhm speak to the competition's calibre.
