"One of the finest pianists of his generation" - that's how the international jazz press has described Joey Calderazzo, and for good reason: this American has been one of the defining voices of modern jazz for decades. A long-time collaborator of Michael Brecker and a permanent member of the Branford Marsalis Quartet, he has played alongside some of the genre's greatest names, developing a distinctive style that moves between lyrical depth, virtuosic freedom and uncompromising swing.

With his trio, Calderazzo builds a sound where improvisation, openness and sheer joy of playing take centre stage. Together with bassist Orlando Le Fleming and drummer David Hawkins, he creates intense musical dialogues full of momentum and surprise.
