The Grandchild Trick - A Criminal Comedy by Frank Piotraschke

The grandchild trick is a well-known fraud scheme: criminals pose as grandchildren or close relatives and swindle money. But what happens when the victims fight back?

When Manfred reunites with his grandmother Veronica after 20 years of no contact, he expects many things - just not what follows. The first impression of the quirky senior quickly fades when Veronica makes him an unusual offer: she has "a corpse in the basement". The situation spirals out of control - Manfred wants to leave, but the front door is locked and his phone has vanished.
