SPLENDID - Graduation Show of the Class of 2026, State Circus School Berlin

"Splendid" - the graduation show of the class of 2026 from the Staatliche Artistenschule Berlin.

"Splendid" means overwhelming, brilliant, radiant - and the title could hardly be more fitting for this year's graduates, who want to present themselves to the audience in exactly that spirit.

Some of the performers have trained at the Staatliche Artistenschule for up to nine years. Now they take the stage with impressive technique, bold ideas and wholehearted commitment to show just how much skill, passion and personality their art holds. Every act reflects years of intensive training and the desire to move, surprise and delight the audience.

This graduating class also stands out for its remarkable dance and movement abilities. Between the acrobatic highlights, modern and classical dance sequences weave the individual acts into a flowing, luminous whole.

The show is a worthy celebration of the Staatliche Artistenschule's 70th anniversary, with young talents bringing their most radiant "Splendid" to the stage. Direction this year is handled for the first time by Sammy Tavalis, who - alongside his work as a director - has spent several decades as a host, comedian and musician on variety stages across the German-speaking world.
