At just 17, she won the Eurovision Song Contest for Germany with "Ein bisschen Frieden", sold millions of records across Europe and reached number one in the UK.

Her career is studded with further accolades: Euro-Gold-Single, 11 Goldene Stimmgabeln, 17 number-one spots on the ZDF-Hitparade (a record), runner-up at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo (1983), an ECHO-Pop in the nineties, multiple Goldene Europa awards, the smago! Award in 2017 and the Hans Rosenthal Preis for social engagement in 2023.

In 2026, Nicole marks the occasion with her "Meine Schätze - 45 Jahre Jubiläums Tour". She will perform hits and milestones from over 45 years on stage, backed by her band featuring Jens Carstens, Achim Meier, Mickey Meinert and Zoran Grujovski - musicians who have also performed with the Helene Fischer Live Band and Rosenstolz.
