149th Poetry Slam - Open Air Special - poetry from and for the audience

Summer is getting serious - and so is Marburg: on 14 July 2026, the Marburger Poetry Slam moves its stage outside. For the 149th time, the courtyard of KFZ Marburg will host an evening of rhyming, rapping, whispering and shouting under the open sky. Warm summer nights, flickering fairy lights, words meeting the evening air.

Poets bring their best texts - six minutes each, no props, just them, a microphone and a crowd. Every line carries a little further, every laugh lingers a little longer. Stella Jantosca and Tobias Beitzl host the evening with their trademark wit and sharp sense of timing - somewhere between compere and co-conspirator, between announcement and a knowing wink.
