La Piaf et l'amour

She was the "Sparrow of Paris"! An evening in homage to Edith Piaf, the woman who shaped French chanson like no one else. Join us for a journey through her turbulent life and extraordinary music.

Well-known actress and singer Christiane Hagedorn brings Piaf to life - not by imitating her, but by channelling her spirit. She is joined by musician Christoph Alexander, a crossover tenor who performs with her as a duo and also takes the solo role of Piaf's chanson partners. The evening is hosted by cabaret artist Markus von Hagen, who knows the many highs and lows of this great artist's life inside out.
