"La Piaf et l'amour" is a homage to Edith Piaf, the singer who shaped French chanson like few others. Actress and singer Christiane Hagedorn brings her to life on stage - not by imitating her, but by capturing her essence.

Joining her is crossover tenor Christoph Alexander, who performs both in duo with Hagedorn and as a soloist, giving voice to Piaf's chanson partners. The evening is hosted by cabaret artist Markus von Hagen, who knows how to tell the story of the highs and lows in this remarkable artist's life.
