Theater ex libris
Konzertsaal Friedenskapelle, Münster, Germany
Robert Louis Stevenson's dark novella presents London in its most beautiful and most terrible guise - a city with two faces. Christoph Tiemann has adapted this story for a production as a live radio play in the Theater ex libris style, while remaining very faithful to the original text.
Cavendish Square, 1886: The lawyer Utterson receives the will of his friend Dr. Jekyll, which in the event of his disappearance is to transfer his entire fortune to Mr. Hyde - a true monster. What secrets lie behind this bizarre arrangement? Many viewers will encounter the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in this original form for the first time.
Theater ex libris has been touring with acoustic literary theatre for over ten years. Under Christoph Tiemann's direction, the ensemble has already brought to life characters such as Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, and the Little Prince - now once again in the Friedenskapelle.
