Anouk is a kind and helpful girl with one big problem: she absolutely hates going to bed! So her parents are all the more baffled when she suddenly starts rushing to bed every evening with a big smile. What they don't know: every night, a magical door opens for her into a world of fantasy and adventure. She joins pirates on a treasure hunt, tackles challenges in the jungle, meets colourful characters at a fairground, and makes new friends - always ready to help other children through tough moments. The next morning, when she tells her parents about her nightly adventures, they always say: "Sweetheart, you were just dreaming!" But Anouk has "proof" that it's all real. And her grandmother seems to know a lot more than she lets on...
