To mark their anniversary, Culcha Candela return to the SommerMusik Schloss Rheydt stage for the third time on 23 August. At their last show in 2022, 1,500 fans celebrated with the band - SommerMusik organiser Günter vom Dorp had no doubt afterwards: "This incredible concert has to happen again."

Culcha Candela blend reggae, dancehall, salsa and hip-hop, singing in German, English, Spanish and Patois. The band has over five million records sold, nearly 35 gold and platinum awards, and more than 1,500 live shows to their name. In late 2023 they delivered the title track for the European Handball Championship ("Celebration"), and around the turn of 2024/2025 they celebrated the 15th anniversary of their mega-hit "MONSTA" with the MONSTA 15 EP and the MONSTA TOUR.

Beyond music, the four Berliners are active in social causes including BeAnAngel e.V., Die Arche, ActionKids, Laut Gegen Nazis, Pro Asyl, Seebrücke and Afrika Rise.
