Christoph Sieber - Weitermachen!
Kultur- & Kommunikationszentrum Brunsviga, Braunschweig, Germany
Christoph Sieber is back on tour. And that's a good thing.
The world is full of disaster headlines, and it matters that someone pushes back against the madness. In a world of doom scenarios, Sieber makes one thing clear: hope is the last thing to die. In the end, humor wins. Giving up is not an option.
At the end of his last show, many audience members called out: Mr. Sieber, please keep going! And he always had the same answer: I can't do otherwise. What choice do we have but to carry on?
In "Weitermachen" (Keep Going), it's about us - about society's wrong turns and confusion, about solidarity and what drives us apart.
As always, Christoph Sieber blends sharp political cabaret with the big topics of our time: football, politics, society, and the question of why naked mole rats so rarely go shopping.
All of it comes with singing, dancing, and a whole cast of characters drawn straight from everyday life. Audiences will get to meet baker Häberle and Charity-Dieter again, and at last Sieber's long-lost brother finally gets a word in.
Anyone who knows Sieber from TV should see him live at least once - because nothing makes political cabaret more alive than laughing, lamenting, and crying together, then sharing a beer in the foyer knowing: life goes on.
Life is too serious not to laugh at. True to the motto: you have to laugh so that something can stick in your throat. And who better than Sieber to counter the general doom-and-gloom with his own vision: the world's sunrise!
"The man who always brings my smile back when I think I've already lost it." (Facebook comment)
