THE ROBBER HOTZENPLOTZ

Based on the book by Otfried Preußler. A musical chase after a rogue, adapted by Martin Lingnau and Heiko Wohlgemut.

"A robber's life is a merry one..." rings out across the castle moat. The Robber Hotzenplotz is causing havoc on the open-air stage at Stettenfels - and wastes no time stealing Grandmother's brand-new coffee grinder. Kasperl and Seppel rush to help and set off in pursuit. But Hotzenplotz is no fool: he captures both boys and takes them prisoner. Kasperl he sells to the great sorcerer Petrosilius Zwackelmann, where the poor lad must peel potatoes day after day - until he stumbles upon a mysterious toad in the castle cellar.

Could it be the enchanted fairy Amaryllis? And will Kasperl and Seppel ever get Grandmother's coffee grinder back?

A lively open-air production with plenty of music and fun for all ages. The popular Stettenfels children's ensemble is back on stage too.
