After a car accident, Munich taxi driver Wiggerl (Maximilian Brückner) finds himself unexpectedly in heaven. Instead of the familiar comforts he knew in life, he encounters a world that bears little resemblance to anything he imagined. To avoid disrupting the heavenly order, he is sent back to Earth with a task: only by balancing his karma can he earn the right to stay.

Back among the living, Wiggerl is invisible to everyone around him - except his daughter Toni (Momo Beier), who can both see and hear him. Their reunion is tense, weighed down by years of neglect. Toni refuses to help at first, partly out of loyalty to her mother Kathi (Hannah Herzsprung), a woman Wiggerl largely ignored while he was alive.

Slowly, a process of self-reflection begins as Wiggerl tries to rebuild the trust he once threw away. With time running out, he comes to understand just how much his mission truly matters.
