They have been friends since childhood; when Maite was 6 years old, she told John (14) that she would marry him one day. Fifteen years later, this became reality. In the meantime, Maite had become a renowned soprano and classical guitarist, while John achieved success with "The Kelly Family". After 28 years of shared private and professional life, they continue to share their affection with the audience through their music.

MAITE ITOIZ: The soprano, producer, and composer from Navarre, Maite Itoiz concluded her two careers as an opera singer and classical guitarist with numerous awards. Since 2006, she has led ELFENTHAL, a symphonic-rock formation that she founded together with her husband, singer John Kelly. "Tales from the Secret Forest", her first album with original compositions, remained in the German Media Control Charts for several weeks.
