Description was written before the event

Stax and the Tommy Guns play Memphis Blues and soul from the 1960s - world-famous hits alongside lesser-known tracks by Aretha Franklin, Eddie Floyd, Otis Redding, and Etta James.

The band from northern Hesse has been active since 2023 and performs as a compact big band: two powerhouse vocalists, punchy rhythms, and the classic blues uniform. The set covers raw blues, funky Motown, gospel, and soul.

The Blues and Soul Experience - Live and Loud.

The Theaterstübchen is a small, independent venue in Kassel with a long-standing reputation for live music across many genres - from rock and jazz to singer-songwriter nights.
