The fisherman from Stralsund will deliver a pointed account - he knew her, drank wine with her, laughed with her, and knows exactly what a funny person Angela is. From the perspective of society's margins, the author lets Karl-Konrad trace the path of "our country" to the here and now. At the end, one question remains, reaching further than any chancellorship: who are we now, and what do we make of it?
