Das Freiburger Klassenzimmertheater is a relatively young theatrical genre with a growing number of writers dedicated to it. Its strengths lie in the closeness between the performance and the audience, and in the authenticity it conveys - both of which set off processes of thought and reflection in a distinctive way. There are no additional aesthetic devices: no set design, no stage lighting. Yet the result is a genuine theatrical experience - intense and expressive in acting, language, and imagery.

After each performance, Das Freiburger Klassenzimmertheater offers a one-hour post-show discussion where questions about the piece and its themes can be explored.
