Dota Kehr is a German singer-songwriter who performs as DOTA. She plays banjo and guitar, writing songs that sit somewhere between folk and chanson, with a distinctly literary and political sensibility. In recent years she devoted two albums to setting the poetry of Mascha Kaléko to music.
