La Réunion and Madagascar - Digital Multivision Show by Wolfgang Röller — Zentralgasthof Weinböhla, Weinböhla

Two islands in the Indian Ocean: barely 700 km apart, yet fundamentally different. One belongs to France - a tiny piece of the European Union in the tropics. The other is the world's fourth-largest island, full of exotic beauty and adventure, distinctly African.

Perhaps that's precisely why visiting both islands is so compelling. We begin in La Réunion. Although the infrastructure is as developed as in mainland France, the tropical climate and spectacular landscapes make it a true outdoor paradise. The scenery is best experienced on foot. Hiking trails lead through wild crater basins, deep canyons, rainforests, to hidden waterfalls and peaks above 2,000 and 3,000 metres. You sense the harmony of cultures and religions - the population consists of descendants of immigrants from Africa, Europe, India, and China.

Just an hour's flight away lies Madagascar with its alien yet fascinating nature. The vibrant multicultural coexistence of its inhabitants makes this island a bridge between Africa and Asia. The rainforests in the east are home to countless animal and plant species, while the west impresses with its giant baobab trees. Extraordinary natural experiences are guaranteed by chameleons and especially the many species of lemurs found only on Madagascar. Once you've observed ring-tailed lemurs and ruffed lemurs or heard the mysterious calls of indris, you'll never be able to resist Madagascar's enchantment.

Enjoy the exotic fascination of these two paradises in the Indian Ocean in this HD audiovisual show!
