Based on the cult 1980s film of the same name, the musical follows Ren McCormack, a city kid who moves to the conservative small town of Bomont. There he meets Ariel, the preacher's daughter who is rebelling against her family - and runs into an unwritten rule: dancing is banned. Together with his new friends, Ren fights against all odds for the right to music and movement.

Expect songs like "I Need a Hero", "Let's Hear It for the Boy" and the title track "Footloose".
