The musical "Footloose" by Dean Pitchford, Walter Bobbie and Tom Snow is based on the cult 1980s film of the same name. It follows young Ren McCormack, who moves from the city to the conservative small town of Bomont. There he meets Ariel, the local reverend's daughter who is rebelling against her family, and runs into an unwritten rule: dancing is banned. Together with his new friends - and against all odds - Ren fights for the right to music, movement and joy.

With crowd-pleasing songs like "I Need a Hero", "Let's Hear It for the Boy" and the title track, lively dance numbers and a gripping story, "Footloose" is a show bursting with youthful energy and the courage to stand up for what you believe in.
