Patience is decidedly not her strong suit - which is exactly why Daphne de Luxe takes to the stage with her new show "GEDULDSPROBEN", as authentic and entertaining as comedy gets.

"Von Schwiegermüttern und anderen Plagen" (On Mothers-in-Law and Other Plagues) - the subtitle already gives away who sits at the heart of this comedy programme: the mother-in-law. She recently moved in and brings with her, quite literally, any number of "delightful" situations that push the "Barbie in XL format" to her absolute limit. But she's not the only one testing Daphne's nerves. The queen of self-deprecation reflects on the sense and nonsense of odd habits, the peculiarities of getting older, philosophises about human nature in general, and recounts - with great amusement - the situations that genuinely push her patience to breaking point.

When Daphne de Luxe lays out the challenges of her daily life with such wit, the biblical plagues start to look like minor inconveniences by comparison.
