Gregor Gysi, one of the most prominent figures in German politics across East and West, speaks this evening about his personal life: his childhood, political career, friendships in the political sphere, German reunification, and the current global situation. He also answers questions from the audience - in his characteristic style, with humor and charm.

During the intermission, Gregor Gysi signs his books at the book table. From the moment the hall opens, Boris Hirschmüller, former guitarist of Monika Herz, plays the greatest hits of East Germany. The evening is moderated by Florian Härtl.
