Amanda and Elyot, once married, now happily divorced, set off on their honeymoons with new partners Victor and Sibyl. At exactly the same time, in the same hotel, in suites next to each other. When they unexpectedly meet after three years, by moonlight, over drinks and sentimental music, an unforeseen turn of events unfolds.
Old love ignites anew, and Amanda and Elyot hastily flee to Rome. But after only a few days, the spark fades and the quarrels resume.
