Frustration from Paris have been a fixture of European post-punk for over 20 years. Stylistically they sit somewhere between British punk rock, post-punk, cold wave and garage - drawing comparisons to Joy Division, Killing Joke, Wire, The Fall and New Order, with influences from Wild Billy Childish and Crisis. The Parisian record shop and label Born Bad is the band's home base; DIY culture meets deep roots in the French and European underground punk scene.
Warm Exit from Brussels are about 20 years younger: the quartet formed in 2022 but moves in the same spirit of 70s punk and post-punk, enriched with noise and krautrock influences. Wire, The Fall and Public Image Limited are the reference points for their dark, driving sound. Dissonant riffs and urgent vocals have quickly put the four on the map of the Belgian post-punk scene.
