Brandl, Kauper & Förtsch-Döring - Much more than just blues

When Klaus Brandl, Curley Kauper and Willi Förtsch-Döring share a stage, the result is Much More Than Just Blues. Brandl - singer, guitarist and recipient of the City of Nuremberg's cultural prize - blends blues with rock, folk and Americana. His trademarks are expressive slide guitar, open tunings and high-energy fingerpicking. His shows thrive on spontaneity, the joy of playing and a constant urge to reinvent songs.

Alongside him: Curley Kauper, harmonica player and vocalist with decades of stage experience. Rounding out the trio is versatile keyboardist Willi Förtsch-Döring, who brings depth and tonal variety to the sound. Together they deliver a varied, intense live set - passionate, distinctly their own, and well off the beaten mainstream path.
