A hungry, lonely wolf meets a naive sheep - to plan dinner together. Can that end well? In Maritgen Matter's story, it can.
The wolf promises the unsuspecting sheep the world: glorious snow adventures, a mysterious city, real excitement to break up the dull routine of sheep life. The sheep is completely taken in, leaves its cosy woolly home and heads out into the wilderness with the stranger. The wolf, of course, has only one thing in mind: eating the sheep. But after a hair-raising sledge ride, a plunge into icy water and a feverish night, there's a catch - you can't eat someone you've grown fond of.
The single prop - a bed piled with blankets - transforms in moments into a sledging hill, a winter forest or a frozen lake. "The production doesn't pretend the world is all sunshine and roses. It works more as a guide to dealing with fear." (Die Rheinpfalz)
