What Fools Garden masterminds Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel created in 1995 is nothing less than one of the very few genuine worldwide hits to come out of Germany, earning countless gold and platinum certifications around the globe. On the radio or via streaming, live in a hotel bar or at home from CD - this song is played at least ten times per second somewhere in the world. Fools Garden knocked Take That off the top of the "Bravo" charts, shared a dressing room with Justin Timberlake and danced a polonaise with the Spice Girls in Tokyo. In Kaliningrad, the band was the headline act at the city's 750th anniversary celebrations before 100,000 spectators. And at a charity concert broadcast by Chinese television in the 30-million-strong city of Chongqing, Fools Garden performed in front of more TV viewers than Germany has inhabitants.

One might think: anyone who has achieved and experienced all this can sit back, put their feet up and rest on their laurels. Far from it! Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel still feel an irrepressible urge to write new songs, record albums and hit the road. The two have now created more than 140 songs together. Fools Garden regularly perform concerts around the world - in recent years in England, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, South Africa, Spain and China, among others.
