An Evening with Sarah Barelly - "Hits, Flirts & Other Unpleasantries!"

Why does German schlager still exist - and who is to blame? In her music-comedy show "Hits, Flirts & Other Unpleasantries!" Sarah Barelly tackles this very question head-on, pulling no punches. Between "Hit Parade," Fernsehgarten romance, and emotional rollercoasters, she exposes schlager for what it truly is: uninhibited, catchy, sometimes embarrassing - but undeniably cult.

Contemporary flirting behaviour also gets its comeuppance: from "morning in loving hands" through male fashion disasters to complete lapses in taste. With a powerful voice, cheeky wit, and musical range spanning schlager, rock, pop, and poetry, Barelly holds up an unsparing mirror to the reality of flirtation.
