Claus von Wagner - Projekt Equilibrium

Remember when we took democracy so much for granted that "casting your vote" meant: staying silent for four years after the election? Those days are gone.

Democracy is under pressure, something has fallen out of balance. The political world in motion - it can make your head spin. We stand firm on the ground of the constitution, but somehow it doesn't feel quite as stable as it once did.

"Projekt Equilibrium" is a programme about the search for balance in a world gone awry - a satirical, furious dance on the edge of apocalypse. Claus von Wagner's latest show merges the tradition of American stand-up comedy with topics that frankly shouldn't be funny at all: debt brakes, special assets, climate crisis, inheritance tax reform, inequality - and makes them oddly entertaining.
