DIO alive - Tribute to Rainbow, Black Sabbath & Dio

Dio Alive - a tribute to Ronnie James Dio and his years with Rainbow and Black Sabbath.

Founded in 2023, the band around Dutch vocalist John "Jaycee" Cuijpers has dedicated itself to the work of the musician who passed away in 2010: songs from his time with Rainbow and Black Sabbath as well as from his solo albums. "Man on the Silver Mountain", "Holy Diver", "Heaven and Hell", "Stargazer" - the programme ranges from radio-friendly hits through dramatic epics to ballads.

"Ronnie James Dio was undoubtedly one of the greatest singers of hard rock and heavy metal," says John Cuijpers. "Our aim is to share his timeless music and passion with the audience." Alongside him is guitarist Frank Pané, who has already performed on stage with Ian Paice, Bobby Kimball and Dave Bickler.
