DIO Alive - a tribute to Ronnie James Dio and his legendary years with Rainbow and Black Sabbath.

Founded in 2023, the band led by Dutch vocalist John "Jaycee" Cuijpers has set out to revive the work of the musician who passed away in 2010, spanning his time with Rainbow and Black Sabbath as well as his solo albums. "Man on the Silver Mountain", "Holy Diver", "Heaven and Hell", "Stargazer" - the musical journey is diverse, encompassing radio hits, dramatic epics, and beautiful ballads.

"Ronnie James Dio was undoubtedly one of the greatest singers in hard rock and heavy metal," says John Cuijpers. "Our mission is to share his timeless music and passion with the audience." Vocally impressive in his closeness to the original, Cuijpers embodies his idol on stage like few others. Alongside him is guitarist Frank Pané, who has already shared the stage with Ian Paice, Bobby Kimball, and Dave Bickler.
