Ronny Weiland - Great Feelings and Memories of Ivan Rebroff - Concert of Feelings

Ronny Weiland presents his programme "Great Feelings and Memories of Ivan Rebroff" at the Concert & Conference Hall Nikolai-Kirche in Freiberg.

Weiland possesses a powerful bass voice that is repeatedly compared to Ivan Rebroff. His repertoire ranges from classical and musical theatre to contemporary sounds - including "The Moldau", "Praying Hands", "Waltz No. 2", "Anatevka", "The Barcarole", "The Volga Song" from the operetta "The Tsarevich", the "Chorus of Prisoners from Nabucco" and "Ave Maria". Duets with Gaby Albrecht and Michael Hirte achieved top chart positions.

Andy Borg called him in his broadcast the singer with the best voice he had ever heard live; Stefan Mross introduced him on "Immer wieder Sonntags" as one of the best voices in Germany. Weiland has also performed at "Musikantenstadl", at the "Autumn Festival of Folk Music with Florian Silbereisen" and at "The Crown of Folk Music".

Early in his career, he received support from the management of his idol Ivan Rebroff; furthermore, he was trained vocally by Ivan Konsulov in Switzerland.
