Far up in the north, where snow and ice last forever, lives Lars, the little polar bear. He can already ride on his father's back and catch fish with one paw. Swimming, though - that's still a bit tricky. Then one day something terrible happens. Lars finds himself all alone on a drifting ice floe, carried out to sea.
