Four distinct personalities share the stage - despite being closely related. The nouWell cousines win audiences over with their joy of playing, virtuosity and versatility. Talent, a love of performing and a sharp sense of humour all come from the Well musical family, but the four have developed their own style: genre-crossing, open to the world and rooted in regional tradition.

Their songs tackle themes of their generation - sometimes with social commentary, always with humour, and never taking themselves too seriously. Fun comes first.

The ideas for their lyrics and music come from their regular Munich haunt, the "Johanniscafe" - a melting pot of cultures and characters. Students, beer regulars, hipsters, pensioners, academics and tradespeople all sit together there at any hour of the day or night, chatting about life.
