After their mother's death, two sisters must deal with their long-absent father - a film director who turns up unexpectedly after the funeral. He wants to cast his older daughter in the lead role of his autobiographical film. When she refuses, he hires a Hollywood actress in her place. Danielsen Lie made his film debut when he was 11 years old in the title role of Herman (1990) by Erik Gustavson.
