Kaffeehauskonzert - "Heut' ist der schönste Tag..." - with Ensemble Montango

Since 2011, the annual "Kaffeehauskonzert" at Singoldhalle has enjoyed great popularity. The concept of afternoon coffee and cake paired with an appealing musical programme is very well received by audiences.

This year's Kaffeehauskonzert presents an extraordinary ensemble called "Motango" with a varied repertoire of well-known numbers from sound films and original compositions. "Heut' ist der schönste Tag..." and many other familiar melodies and hits such as "Ich bin die fesche Lola", "Ich brech' die Herzen der stolzesten Frau'n" and "Küssen kann man nicht alleine" are on the programme. Join the musicians of Motango on a musical journey to Paris with "Pariser Tango" and along the "Champs-Elysées". Along the way, you'll unexpectedly discover the modern counterpart to this music, where you'll meet the "schönen Frank" and a "Frau ohnegleichen".

Soprano Michaela Gumpp delivers goosebumps in the highest registers, while baritone Manuel Wiencke shines with a powerful voice and stage presence. They are accompanied by Jürgen Otto on piano and accordionist Ralf Peters. A varied musical afternoon, seasoned with a generous helping of humour.
