MUZ Mittwochskonzert - Wednesday, 23 September 2026

Vienna-based band CULK comes to MUZclub as part of their autumn tour 2026. Shortly before, on 4 September 2026, their new album "Smogstar" will be released on Siluh Records.

"Smogstar" marks a shift in sonic direction: raw, direct, with less distance between band and audience. CULK draw inspiration from the sound aesthetic of New York's underground scene of the 1980s - noise-rock influences from Sonic Youth and Swirlies meet the urgency of Unwound, developed further through acts like julie and Blue Smiley. At the centre remains the voice of frontwoman Sophie Löw, who carries the new songs.
