SONGSLAM NEUKÖLLN - Wine, Vibes and Song

Six singers and songwriters face the judgment of the audience - who reward them with applause. That's how a songslam works: sounds, hot breath, speakers and spotlights, and in the end, whoever gets the loudest cheers wins.

120 minutes of competitive music-making in the grand hall of Heimathafen. Whether chanson, acoustic punk, musical cabaret or bluegrass-flamenco-indiecore - the programme decides itself on stage. Played by strict rules: no bands, no backup dancers, no covers, no backing tracks. To win: applause, fame, honour, schnapps and a bag of Rachengold.

The evening is hosted by Berlin slam and poetry night authors Tilman Birr and Piet Weber. The annual final takes place on 17.12.2025.
