Michel in the Soup Bowl - A Children's Play by Astrid Lindgren

This theatrical adaptation of "Michel in the Soup Bowl" by Astrid Lindgren is aimed at children from four years old - and at all adults who enjoy a good laugh. Children are actively involved in the performance and become part of the show.

On the Svensson family farm in Lönneberga, Michel stirs up chaos at Katthult with his well-meaning but turbulent ideas: sometimes he gets his head stuck in the soup bowl, sometimes he wants to "help" the maid Lina in his own special way, sometimes a mysterious illness throws the entire farm into turmoil. It's no wonder Michel keeps ending up in the carpenter's shed - until he suddenly disappears.

With situational comedy, mishaps, and Michel's famous pranks, the play works as family theatre: the humour and linguistic wit appeal equally to young and adult audiences.
