The Wright Thing

The Wright Thing is a unique project bringing together outstanding singers and musicians from around the world.

Founded by British keyboardist and bandleader Jason Wright (Incognito, Freeez), the band has become an enduring fixture on the German live music scene. Soul, funk, pop, jazz and rock'n roll - The Wright Thing wears many faces, yet every show is defined by the joy of playing, tangible musicality and entertainment at the highest level.

Jason Wright was born in Cornwall, England. Now a longtime Heidelberg resident, he has been active in the music scene for over 40 years as a talent scout and mentor. Many emerging artists have found their footing in the music industry through Jason's platform, inspiring institutions like the Mannheim Pop Academy.
