The Physicists

In a sanatorium, nurses die under mysterious circumstances - the only other residents are three seemingly mad physicists. But appearances deceive: behind the facade lies a struggle over the "world formula", which, once discovered, must be protected at all costs.

Dürrenmatt's grotesque chamber play raises questions about the responsibility of science. Some inventions could save humanity - or destroy it. But what if they can no longer be stopped?

"A story is only fully thought through when it has taken its worst possible turn." - F. Dürrenmatt
