Stunk unplugged - TOUR 2026

Eleven members of the legendary Cologne Stunksitzung take the stage as the ensemble "Stunk Unplugged" on 05.09.2026 in Rees. They are the largest cabaret ensemble in Germany, presenting cabaret highlights and songs from 42 years of Stunksitzung.

Stunk Unplugged is the crackle in the audience, the irrepressible energy of seasoned stage performers and free-spirited citizens of the world, colourful and multicultural to the core. It is a showcase of outstanding acting that sets itself firmly apart from cheap comedy. However light and cheerful the performance may seem, sharp minds are behind it - people who have thought carefully about what will make the audience reflect, laugh, and cheer. Every unpleasant figure on the world stage - from Erdogan and Orbán to Putin and Trump - is fair game, and each of them could (were it not for artistic freedom) sue. Stunk is also this: deliberate lèse-majesté. Audiences love it.

The show holds up a mirror to what moves society: the skilled-worker shortage, integration, the housing crisis, climate change... The range of topics is striking, and the shift between slow and fast keeps the audience swept up in the moment.

For all its bite, Stunk Unplugged is ultimately one thing above all: great entertainment!
