Fans of Egerland and Bohemian brass music - listen up!
Few brass bands are as renowned as the Bohemian tradition. The unmistakable sound embodies Czech joie de vivre and Egerland heritage. The sophisticated musical pieces radiate boundless joy, yet also convey melancholy and longing for a lost homeland.
Die Goldenen Egerländer are a hidden gem. Since their founding, these passionate musicians have filled concert halls across Germany. This success stems from the orchestra's exceptional quality and musicianship. It is no wonder that the professional musicians play or have played in Bundeswehr and police orchestras nationwide - including the Bundeswehr Staff Music Corps, the Federal Police Orchestra Berlin, and the former Luftwaffe Music Corps Berlin.
Since October 2022, Die Goldenen Egerländer have been led by Edi Sagert, a former musician with Ernst Mosch and former director of the Original Kapelle Egerland.
Through their concise, authentic, and spirited approach, combined with deep feeling, the orchestra crafts compelling stage performances - naturally dressed in original Egerland costumes.
Under the motto "Favorite Melodies from Egerland", the musical programme focuses on the most beautiful Egerland sounds, including works by Ernst Mosch and his Original Egerländer Musikanten. When "Rustling Birches" resounds, the audience sings along to "We Are Children of the Eger", or the gentle "Bohemian Wind" drifts through the concert hall, every brass music enthusiast finds exactly what they seek.
Experience a unique concert highlight at the highest level - Egerland brass music at its finest!
