Die Goldenen Egerländer represent Bohemian brass music that carries the unmistakable sound of the Egerland with its joie de vivre, but also melancholy and longing for a lost homeland. The orchestra consists of professional musicians who have played or continue to play in ensembles such as the Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr, the Bundespolizeiorchester Berlin, or the former Luftwaffenmusikkorps Berlin. Since October 2022, the ensemble has been led by Edi Sagert - a former musician with Ernst Mosch and former director of the Original Kapelle Egerland.

The programme focuses on the most beautiful Egerland melodies, including pieces by Ernst Mosch and his Original Egerländer Musikanten. Whether "Rauschende Birken", "Wir sind Kinder von der Eger" or "Böhmischer Wind" - the musicians shape their performances with temperament and deep feeling, dressed in authentic Egerland costumes.
