BYRDS - SWEETHEART OF THE RODEO
With Sweetheart of the Rodeo in 1968, the Byrds open a new chapter. Moving away from psychedelia and beat, they embrace the authentic American sound of country music. Pedal-steel guitar, clear harmonies, and songs by Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, and traditional ballads define this work. The album feels like a dusty drive through the American West - simple, honest, and full of heart. A bold step that brings rock and country closer together.

No other band in southern Germany performs country music with such authenticity and passion as Blue Side of Town. The band members are known from many other projects for their professionalism and dedication, and together they deliver an exclusive and emotional country and rock show. The highlights include the steel guitar, the fiddle, and expressive, multi-part vocals.
