"Little Walter's" Rock'n'Roll Zirkus plays authentic rock'n'roll while being anything but a nostalgia act. "Little Walter" embodies a slice of German post-war culture and rock'n'roll history. Since the early 1960s he has been professionally on the road - from the legendary Hamburg Star Club to US military entertainment tours. Numerous TV appearances are part of his story too. Major commercial success never came his way, which may be exactly why he has kept his unmistakable originality intact.
With no rock-star airs, but plenty of humour and self-deprecation, the Rock'n'Roll Zirkus keeps the heartbeat of rock'n'roll alive. The repertoire spans 1950s rock and rhythm'n'blues through to soul. Spontaneity, a love of experimentation and a chronically bad memory mean no two shows are alike. One thing never changes though: good spirits and the conviction that The Heart of Rock'n'Roll is still beatin'! (https://littlewalters.jimdosite.com)
