Lullaby - Gostner Theaterjugendclub
Gostner Hoftheater, Nuremberg, Germany
Who decides which dream counts: the one you have while sleeping, or the one you have for your own future? The moment of falling asleep is a threshold - an inner borderland. Voices and figures pull at us from all sides: reality and fantasy, security and longing, expectations and possibilities. Memories, desires and fears shape dreamworlds that are as tempting as they are unsettling. As sleep phases blend into one another, a tension builds between what is imagined and what is thought through. Dreams become ambiguous: they are the nocturnal images of the subconscious - and at the same time, visions of a tangible future.
Gostner Theaterjugendclub presents a blend of poetry, dance, music and performance that explores the theme of "dreams" from many angles, asking: how and what can a dream be?
