With "Between the Bars" and "Between the 80's", Plewka and Schmedtje have won over audiences in numerous sold-out shows over recent years. In early 2026 they return to the stage with a brand-new programme, "Between the Lights", accompanied by a new EP.

Thematically, the two artists turn to songs about death. Pieces like Killing Me Softly, The End, and Wonderful Life guide the listener through an emotional journey into their own existence - while still making room to celebrate the lighter moments in between.

An evening that approaches the subject of farewell with tenderness - sometimes in a major key, sometimes minor. Expect to be moved, healed, brought to tears, and made to laugh. Ultimately, it is an invitation to life.
