About the venue: St. Johannis-Kirche Würzburg

St. Johannis is one of Würzburg's oldest churches, a Romanesque basilica whose origins date back to the early medieval period. It stands near the Main river and served for centuries as the city's main parish church before the cathedral took over that role. Today it hosts concerts and cultural events alongside regular services, and its austere stone interior gives performances a distinctive acoustic character.
