For the first time since 2017, a state youth ensemble is returning to Goslar: on 9 July 2026 at 19:30, the Niedersächsisches Jugendsinfonieorchester (NJO) will perform its summer concert in the Kaisersaal of the UNESCO World Heritage site Kaiserpfalz.

The NJO brings together exceptionally gifted young musicians from Lower Saxony in a high-calibre symphony orchestra, winning audiences over with their technical quality and passionate playing.

On the programme: the Sinfonia concertante by Sergei Prokofiev with cellist Valentino Worlitzsch, and the sweeping 5th Symphony by Pyotr Tchaikovsky - both conducted by the young conductor Mario Hartmuth.
