The programme features three works for piano and orchestra: Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major op. 58, Robert Schumann's Concert Allegro with Introduction op. 134, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Piano Concerto No. 2 in D minor op. 40.

Soloists from the Goslarer Klaviertage perform alongside the tfn_philharmonie, conducted by Sergei Kiselev.

About the venue: Kaiserpfalz Goslar

The Kaiserpfalz is a Romanesque imperial palace in Goslar, built in the 11th century and one of the largest surviving secular buildings of the early medieval period in Germany. It served as a residence for Holy Roman Emperors, most notably Heinrich III, and was extensively restored in the 19th century. Today it houses a permanent historical exhibition and hosts cultural events against a backdrop of monumental 19th-century wall paintings.
